MedTech's Got Talent Boot Camp Workshop

About the Event

This Bootcamp is being run by the Actuator and Johnson & Johnson Innovation Partnering Office @ QUT. The Bootcamp provides an introductory overview of the various constituents of the commercialisation trajectory of medical technologies. The workshop consists of: 1) a prototype development session that include themes such as ideation, proof of concept and regulatory affairs; 2) an IP session that covers a number of themes such as defensive IP Strategy, IP landscaping, filing a patent, patent rights, and infringement avoidance; 3) a market positioning session that includes information about the Market, competition, customer development, business model and business plan; 4) a finance session that focuses on capital raising strategies and cash flow projections; 5) the art of the pitch session that provides tips on how to pitch, the challenges of pitching, as well as how to deal with rejections; and 6) a pitching practice session similar.

The workshop finishes at 3 .30pm and is followed by a Johnson & Johnson Partnering office @ QUT networking and seminar function, Spotlight on Medtech - Accelerating innovations to patients, with a wider group of industry stakeholders.
