About MedTech Innovator Asia
MedTech Innovator is the medical technology industry’s global showcase and accelerator for innovative medical device, digital health and diagnostic companies. Its mission is to improve the lives of patients by accelerating the growth of companies that are transforming the healthcare system. MedTech Innovator is the largest platform of its kind, providing participants with broad exposure to the leading players in the medtech industry. To accelerate innovation in Asia, they have partnered with the Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed 亚太医疗技术协会). APACMed is the first and only regional association to provide a unified voice for the medical technology industry in Asia Pacific.
About The Asia Pacific MedTech Forum
The Asia Pacific MedTech Forum will be host to the grand finals of the MedTech Innovator Asia competition in October 2019, where up to US$300,000 in non-dilutive cash prizes will be awarded to the shortlisted finalists of the 2019 cohort.
The Grand Prize winner will be determined via an audience vote and announced live at the Forum. In addition, multiple incubator spaces will be awarded to select startups by the program’s corporate sponsors. In exchange for providing financial support and guidance to accelerate the growth of the startups, sponsors of MedTech Innovator Asia will gain access to the database of applicants sourced throughout Asia, the ability to leverage shared insights with other program partners, and the opportunity to explore collaboration with the finalists
MedTech Innovator Asia 2019 Showcase
In 2019, MedTech Innovator Asia will recognize the 20 best-in-class startups across the Asia Pacific regions. Startups selected for this honor receive a slot in the MedTech Innovator Asia Showcase. The MedTech Innovator Showcase is an annual program that provides startups with high profile visibility to healthcare investors, stakeholders, and decision makers, access to a network of mentors and peers, and participation in a customized virtual curriculum.
MedTech Innovator Showcase startups will receive mentorship and coaching through one-on-one matching with one or more mentors from our corporate partners to help with commercialization throughout Asia Pacific. They will also have access to the webinar sessions from our parallel US program providing information regarding accessing and operating in the US and EU regions. Additionally, the MedTech Innovator Asia Showcase startups are eligible to compete for up to US $300,000 in cash and awards. All medical device, diagnostic, or digital health startups are eligible to apply.
