About CRC for Mental Health

The CRC for Mental Health researches early detection and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and psychoses. The CRC’s research includes areas such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease and psychoses such as schizophrenia and mood disorders.

The research efforts of the CRC for Mental Health focus principally on the discovery and validation of biomarkers for mental illnesses. These have the potential to be developed by our commercial partners into new diagnostics and therapeutics for mental illnesses.
