About SPARK Co-Lab

SPARK Co-Lab provides education and training in support of medical research innovation and commercialisation. The City of Perth is supporting the running of the SPARK Co-Lab Actuator seminar series, covering a broad range of topics relevant to start-up development stages from R&D to post-commercialisation.

The Perth Biodesign Course is being run as a partnership between MTPConnect-funded Accelerating Australia and SPARK Co-Lab in which teams are built from multidisciplinary backgrounds (engineering, clinical, scientific and business). They are challenged to identify unmet clinical needs, invent a medical device solution, develop intellectual property, build a prototype and establish the business strategies required for success.
