About Cancer Trials Australia

Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) is a member-based, clinical trial network organisation. They specialise in providing drug development advisory services, ethics and research governance submissions, post-approval activities, management of trials via a clinical trial management system (CTMS) and trial financial management. They currently have 24 members, comprising 22 clinical sites and 2 research organisations, across 4 Australian states.

CTA offers a unique and sophisticated service built upon high-performing academic collaborations between hospitals and research organisations. The organisation has been involved in over 1,200 national and international Phase I-III trials, including first-time-in-human studies, with many different molecules, from small chemical agents to biological agents that include antibodies and therapeutic vaccines.

Their long-standing expertise in the area of oncology has now expanded to include all therapeutic areas. CTA can provide a full service for all clinical trial administration requirements or a fee-for-service option for specific projects or activities.
