About the Event

Throughout the response to COVID-19, the sector has witnessed extraordinary demand for personal protective equipment, hospital beds and medical equipment. The pandemic has highlighted the need for, and importance of, keeping advanced manufacturing capabilities grounded in Australia while reducing the sector’s reliability on overseas components and expertise.

This BioForum will provide an insight into the sector’s rapid response, led by Grey Innovation, to the demand for emergency ventilators and will explore the collaboration, design, manufacturing and supply chain factors that led to the production of the NOTUS emergency ventilator in such an expeditious time frame.
