MTPConnect and BioMelbourne Network have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), further uniting the Australian medical technologies, biotechnologies and pharmaceuticals sector to boost its competitiveness, productivity and capacity in the global market.
The MoU was announced today at the AdvaMed 2016 conference in Minneapolis, United States, where MTPConnect and BioMelbourne Network are showcasing Australia’s work in the MTP sector together with a number of leading organisations including TechInSA (BioSA), NSW Health and the Medical Technology Association of Australia.
Sue MacLeman, CEO of MTPConnect, said that the MoU signals another important step in fostering greater collaboration and innovation in the Australian MTP market.
“BioMelbourne Network does excellent work for Victoria’s biotech, medtech and health innovation organisations, and our affiliation will enhance and compliment the advocacy work of both of our organisations, giving greater voice to our associates in the sector.
