Last week, The Actuator announced its third cohort of ventures into its Actuator Accelerator program for February 2019.

The cohort includes technologies that are revolutionising the detection of early-stage cancerous tissues, disrupting point-of-care testing for infectious diseases, enabling real-time cancerous tumour monitoring, minimising pain and anxiety from medical injections, re-shaping body composition scanning, and more.

With the support of some of Australia's leading industry experts, The Actuator’s third cohort of companies will be put through their paces in a rigorous industry-led 15-month technology and entrepreneurial skill development accelerator program.

Along with training, mentoring and connectivity to local and global networks, the program will provide access to up to $200,000 seed investment, and up to $2.5 million further funding through partners, Artesian.

Together, MTPConnect and The Actuator are excited to support these incredible ventures on their journeys to reshaping healthcare.

Participants will spend the 4 February 2019 – 30 April 2020 in the program.
