In delivering the REDI program, MTPConnect is partnering with research, training and industry organisations to deploy an integrated three-pillar plan driving skills and workforce development for the MTP sector nationally.

Our REDI initiative has undertaken a medtech & pharma Industry skills gap analysis and identified several critical skills gaps that inhibit the industry maximising the impact on healthcare in Australia.

In November, we’ll be launching the first report from the REDI program’s comprehensive skills gap analyses, MTPConnect REDI Skills Gap Analysis Interim Report, and opening a call for proposals for training/education courses to meet urgent skills gaps.

We’ll be looking for proposals from companies, industry associations, registered training organisations and universities with capabilities in the areas that will be identified in the report.

The call for proposals for REDI Pillar 2 Round One for ‘urgent skills gap training courses/programs’ will open on Friday, 13 November 2020 and close at 17.00hrs (AEDT) on Tuesday, 15 December 2020.

We invite you to join our Information Session webinar on 19 November 2020 2-3:30pm AEDT, to learn about the program and the application process of submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for REDI Pillar 2 Round One.

So book your spot for this Information Session, and check our website for further information so can you have your questions ready. Register now.

A second call for proposals for REDI Pillar 2 Round Two will open in March 2021 and will encompass a larger range of skills gaps, as identified in the full MTPConnect REDI Skills Gap Analysis Report which will be published early next year.
