Today we are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Amelia Vom as BTB Project Manager based in Melbourne.
Amelia will work with BTB Director Danielle Shand to manage activities and reporting for the $22.3 million Biomedical Translation Bridge program, funded through the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
She will liaise closely with BTB Awardees and partners, BioCurate, UniQuest, the Medical Device Partnering Program (MDPP) and the Bridge and BridgeTech Programs and assist with value-add activities and project management of the funded research projects.
Previously, Amelia was a Research Manager for the Cancer Therapeutics CRC, a co-operative cancer research centre at the Parkville precinct, and a Medicinal Chemistry Coordinator at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). Amelia holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
