In February 2021, the Department of Industry, Science, Energey and Resources (DISER) released it’s Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI), which identified medical products as being one of the six listed in the National Manufacturing Road Map.

Join DISER as it hosts a Q&A Information Session on 11 March 2021 from 2-3pm AEDT to share the funding opportunities for medical product manufacturing businesses.

The MMI Translation and Integration streams will help businesses to commercialise and scale up great manufacturing ideas, drive collaboration and identify new opportunities to access domestic and global value chains.

Funding opportunities:

The MMI is now open providing co-funding for manufacturing projects across two streams:

Manufacturing Translation stream: this stream helps Australian manufacturers translate high quality research and ideas into commercial outcomes and support businesses to scale-up and become more competitive and resilient.
Manufacturing Integration stream: this stream helps Australian manufacturers to access domestic and international value chains, propelling their goods and services into new markets and fostering Australia’s reputation as a modern manufacturing leader.
