Applications for the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI) grants are now open.

SCRI is part of the Australian Government’s $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy. It aims to shore up Australia’s critical supply chains and help industry to respond to future disruptions.

Grants are now available under the first round of SCRI, supporting Australian businesses to address supply chain vulnerabilities in the product categories of:

  • agricultural production chemicals
  • medicines

Matched funding grants between $50,000 and $2 million will support Australian businesses to co‑invest in manufacturing-related capabilities, equipment, technology, skills and processes.

Funding applications should be guided by the Sovereign Manufacturing Capability Plan. The plan sets out the types of activities that could be funded under the SCRI to address vulnerabilities for identified critical products or inputs.

Applicants can visit business.gov.au/scri to find out more about the SCRI grants and the Sovereign Manufacturing Capability Plan.
