REDI Fellowship Program Paused

The REDI Fellowship program provides companies in the medical products sector (medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals) with up to $250,000 per annum to bring researchers, clinicians and MTP professionals in-house for up to twelve months to work on priority research projects.

The program, operated by MTPConnect, helps build greater engagement between researchers and industry, drive projects towards commercial outcomes and provide fellows with real-world entrepreneurial experiences within research-intensive industry settings.

To date, 14 fellowships have been awarded, working with major Australian and international companies including Cochlear, Telix Pharmaceuticals, Stryker, Pharmaxis, Paige and Synopsis.

Successful applicants from the November 2021 round are now being finalised, after which all funds in the current budget will be committed and the program will be paused.

Given its successes, MTPConnect will continue exploring opportunities to re-open the program where possible, however, applications being progressed in the current round can’t be considered. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
