Introducing Pia Vogrin – Engagement and Communications Manager, Adelaide Intermediary Program

MTPConnect is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Pia Vogrin as Engagement and Communications Manager of MTPConnect’s Adelaide Intermediary Program. 

Pia starts today and will be based in the Adelaide office working alongside Jo Close and Stephanie Morris.

Pia will lead engagement and communications activities that will connect South Australia’s local medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector, particularly focusing on Adelaide BioMed City. Through targeted events, development activities and campaigns, Pia will engage a diverse range of stakeholders including researchers, health professionals, government and industry. These activities will facilitate connections locally, nationally and globally in the interests of accelerating research, innovation and translation in South Australia.

Pia is an engagement, events and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience gained in the private, government, and not-for-profit sectors in South Australia. She has delivered a variety of community activations, programs and campaigns which have contributed to achieving strategic outcomes for project stakeholders, attracted funding, and engaged communities.

She holds a Diploma of Business Management and Marketing and has facilitated and delivered event certification training.
