Introducing Lisa Dubé - our new Chief Operating Officer

We are delighted to announce that Lisa Dubé has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer and joins the MTPConnect team today, based in Melbourne.

Lisa has a very strong background in the biotech sector, including roles as Deputy and Acting CEO at the Cancer Therapeutics CRC (Collaborative Research Centre) where she oversaw a highly successful collaboration that successfully licensed two drug candidates to multinational pharmaceutical companies in an historic deal. She was Finance Director and Company Secretary at CTX Group, Business Manager at the CRC for Mental Health and previously a Clinical Laboratory Manager at the Burnet Institute.

Lisa will bring her management expertise to support MTPConnect’s operations across six strategic funding programs worth more than $180 million, hubs in Western Australia and South Australia and teams in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. She will also strategically support MTPConnect’s ongoing work to assist researchers along their commercialisation journeys and grow start-ups and SMEs into larger and more global players.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry Honours and an MBA - Entrepreneurship Business Development from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. She is a Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors.
