Introducing Dr Dharmica Mistry - Director Diagnostics Industry Engagement

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Dharmica Mistry as the Director Diagnostics Industry Engagement, based in Sydney.

Dharmica will lead MTPConnect’s Diagnostic Testing Sovereign Capability and Supply Chain Resilience project, being delivered in collaboration with Pathology Technology Australia (PTA).

Dharmica has extensive experience in the medical technology sector as a scientist and entrepreneur. She is co-founder and ex-Chief Scientist of BCAL Diagnostics and was most recently Head of Medtech and Biotech at Cicada Innovations, a deep tech incubator.

Dharmica holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from University of Sydney and a PhD in Medicine from Macquarie University. Her work has been recognised through a number of awards including the NSW Young Women of the Year Award 2016, Australian Technologies Competition - Peoples’ Choice 2017; Australian Financial Review BOSS Young Executive of the Year 2016 and Macquarie University Alumni Award for Health and Medicine 2019.
