IDE Group Launches 2018 Building Better Futures for Health Challenge

15 March 2018

IDE Group has announced the opening of the Building Better Futures for Health Challenge is back for another year in 2018. IDE is offering $30,000 worth of design, development and commercialisation support to help fast track ideas that can make a difference to people’s health.

Following the overwhelming success of previous year’s challenges, this year’s Building Better Futures for Health (BBFH) Challenge continues its commitment to being more than a funding stop off for entrepreneurs.

As George Sidis, Managing Director of IDE Group explained, “the BBFH Challenge is about working together to find and invest in Australia’s best medical technology innovations.

"For us, a big part of that investment means offering specialised guidance, feedback and industry connections to help our BBFH Challengers along every part of their commercialisation journey.”

To date the BBFH Challenge has offered over 600 hours of mentoring and attracted an all-star panel of health industry leaders to help select the best ideas that can make a difference to people's health.

“At IDE, we’re in the very unique position to be able to offer entrepreneurs access to our team of highly experienced medical technology design and entrepreneurship experts as well as links with industry influencers that can make a difference to their idea’s chance at success,” Sidis explained.

“We’re really looking forward to this year’s challenge and working together with the broader medtech community to help bring more ideas to market and ultimately help make a difference to the lives of many more people.”
