Through the Growth Centre Project Fund Program, MTPConnect has committed $15.6M across 40 collaborative projects, engaging over 190 consortium members.

MTPConnect also operates the Medical Research Future Fund’s $45 million BioMedTech Horizons (BMTH) program, the $22.3 million Biomedical Translation Bridge (BTB) program, the $32 million Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) initiative and the new $47 million Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA) for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease. 

The BMTH program currently supports 41 projects. BTB currently supports 20 projects. These projects are set to deliver results on a national scale that have sector-wide impact, including for SMEs, and creatively address barriers to growth as outlined in our 10-year Sector Competitiveness Plan.
