The following Industry Fellowships/Internships programs are offered by our REDI Partners
Australian Postgraduate Research Intern (APR.Intern)
MTPConnect’s REDI Initiative provides eligible businesses with a $10,000 rebate towards the cost of engaging a PhD student intern through APR.Intern. These 3-6 month PhD student placements allow businesses to fast-track R&D, while students are given the opportunity to develop in a practical industry research environment – strengthening research translation within the sector. APR.Intern matches students with companies or companies with students. Internships are open year-round.
APR.Intern is Australia’s only national PhD internship program spanning all sectors and disciplines. The program connects businesses with Australia’s brightest PhD students through short-term industry placements. Students transfer their skills from theory to real-world application, while businesses gain a competitive advantage by accessing specialised research expertise.
