IntelliHQ Consortium

National Big Data Analytics and AI training program for Australian Healthcare Leaders, Clinicians, Nurses, Researchers and Scientists

Course and training materials developed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Gradient Institute.  

Masterclass: Benefits of big data analytics and AI for healthcare leaders  

Is created for executive leaders from within the healthcare system and is designed to update participants on current global thinking around big data analytics and AI and how the Australian healthcare system can benefit from the adoption of these technologies. Participants will gain hands on experience in evaluating AI opportunities and a working knowledge of how to assess risks and benefits of AI tools for their organisation.  

Applications open May 2022.  

Masterclass: Skills in big data analytics and implementation of AI for healthcare professionals  

Is designed for clinicians, nurses, researchers, and scientists with minimal experience of big data analytics and AI. It will equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to confidently engage with and utilise AI technologies in healthcare and medical research. Participants will learn the language and knowledge of AI as it applies to their field and gain the confidence to use these tools to accelerate their own research or clinical practice.  

Applications will open early May 2022.  

Medical Datathon

The Medical Datathon helps ignite powerful collaborations between clinicians and data experts to solve real world healthcare problems using digital technologies. In this two-day intensive competitive event, clinician-led teams will work together to create an AI enabled solution using real-world clinical data. The Medical Datathon is for anyone who works in healthcare, medical research, data science, computer science and AI.  

Registration for the datathon event opens Q2 2022.
