About the Event

Dr Roberto Solari will share a case study history on the creation of Myricx Bio, a spinout company from Imperial College London and the Francis Crick Institute. In it, he will share his first-hand founder experience of combining scientific research and the process of company building.

Roberto has a BSc and PhD in Physiology and Cell Biology from Nottingham University and is a co-founder and founding CEO of Myricx Bio, which is developing the first class of antibody drug conjugates based on NMT inhibition to treat cancer. Roberto was also a co-founder of Astex Pharmaceuticals and involved in the founding of Heptares.
