NSW BioCheers at CSIRO - March 2023

We are excited to bring you this New South Wales networking event, in partnership with Australia’s national science agency CSIRO. BioCheers brings together AusBiotech members and non-members in the life sciences, including therapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics), digital health, and agri-biotech sectors. These informal networking events provide an opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues, share ideas, build relationships and make new contacts in New South Wales' vibrant biotechnology community.

The venue, drinks and nibbles are being generously provided by our host partner CSIRO.

CSIRO’s vision is to create a better future for Australia. Our purpose at CSIRO is to solve the greatest challenges through innovative science and technology.

CSIRO is the largest multidisciplinary science institute in the world and its focus is on the greatest challenges that face our nation. A key challenge is health and wellbeing. Under this challenge CSIRO is looking to enhance the health of Australians through preventative, personalised, biomedical and digital health services.

Our work is guided by four strategic objectives and accompanying values – delivering impact through innovation (making it real), purpose driven science and technology ( trusted), engage and empower talent (people first) and building collaborative networks (further together).

CSIRO is a proud and active partner in the Westmead Health and Innocation District and we welcome the NSW life science community to join us in celebrating our collective innovative and vibrant sector.
