The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science – Entrepreneurs’ Programme (Medtech and Pharma Growth Sector), supported by Austrade, invites CEOs and senior executives of Australian health and medtech companies looking at the China market to participate in the China Market Ready Medtech and Pharma Seminar.

China is now the world’s second largest and fastest growing medtech and pharma market. 2016 has also seen several large investments by Chinese pharma into the Australian healthcare and medical research sector, with many others also now actively looking in this space.

The China Market Ready Medtech and Pharma Seminar will provide CEOs and senior executives of Australian medtech and broader healthcare companies with knowledge to develop a successful business strategy in China. The one-day seminar (to be held in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide) will include sessions on developing a market entry strategy, successful partnering approaches, regulatory pathways, distribution and marketing, market risks, common mistakes, and key success factors for Australian healthcare products, technologies and services in China.

China market specialists Rob Scott, Director, China BlueSky and Brendan Mason, former General Manager, Cochlear Greater China, will deliver the seminar.
