About the Event

The REDI Fellowship Program can provide up to $250,000 per Fellow, per annum, for 40 industry Fellowships, giving industry opportunity to access academics for distinct projects involving discovery, translation & commercialisation.

The Fellowship application process is industry-led, so an industry sponsor (company/organisation) needs to submit an application which identifies a Fellow and matches it with their research and development project.

Eligible Fellows are medtech, biotech and pharma sector researchers, academics, clinicians & professionals (technology transfer organisation professionals, entrepreneurs, business development/commercialisation staff, administrators and executives) from academic/public research organisations/hospitals/technology transfer organisations.

Eligible sponsors can select three types of Fellowship to apply for:
• One-year full time
• 6 – 12 months full time
• 6 – 12 months where the Fellow spends 50% of time working with the sponsor.

Subject to COVID-19 restrictions, domestic & international Fellowships will be considered.

Applications open on 15 December 2020 & will remain open until either the funds are fully committed or until October 2022, whichever is first.

This event will outline goals of the Fellowships, eligibility and the process of applying. Attendees should read the Guidelines available on the MTPConnect website prior to attending the session as there will be a question & answer session after the formal presentation.

Dr Rebecca Tunstall, MTPConnect Senior Director of Stakeholder Engagement & REDI Co-chair will open the session & REDI Director, Jarrod Belcher, will also be on hand to provide further details of the Fellowships & answer questions.

Audience: Companies/organisations in the medtech, biotech & pharma sector including multinationals & ASX-listed companies, researchers, academics, clinicians & other sector professionals.

DURATION: 60 mins
