The MTPConnect WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub invites you to join the monthly WA MTP Sector Spotlight Series event.

Our monthly breakfast series is an opportunity for representatives from across the MTP sector to connect, collaborate and learn about upcoming opportunities, and hear the stories and successes of WA organisations developing health and medical innovations. Join us over a light breakfast in the last week of each month at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Featuring Artrya – working to solve the world’s largest cause of death – heart disease.

The morning will feature presentations from Artrya’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer John Konstantopoulos and Co-Founder and Executive Chairman John Barrington AM. Artrya is an emerging WA digital health start-up that is using Artificial Intelligence has developed an AI solution to more accurately identify patients at risk of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and to guide clinicians in delivering more effective treatment. Their solution provides a consistent, highly accurate diagnosis of heart disease risk in less than two minutes and received Class 1 TGA registration in November 2020. The company was awarded $1 million funding in Round 3 of the BioMedTech Horizons (BMTH) Program, an initiative of the Medical Research Future Fund operated by MTPConnect.
