About the Event

The event provides the opportunity to hear CSIRO and MTPConnect (Medical Technology and Pharmaceuticals Industry Innovation Growth Centre) leaders outline the key findings of the Medtech and Pharma Roadmap; the alignment to MTPConnect’s Sector Competitiveness Plan and the future directions of CSIRO’s Health Portfolio.

A key strategic action of CSIRO’s Strategy 2020 was to deliver and act upon market and technology roadmaps to support national challenges and industry innovation. CSIRO has worked with MTPConnect, industry and academia to develop a Medtech and Pharma Roadmap which will be released in coming weeks. The Roadmap complements the MTP Sector Competitiveness Plan which was released in December 2016. In addition, CSIRO has recently appointed a new Director of Health and Biosecurity and has developed an Organisation Health Strategy.
