Queensland exports high-quality products and services to every corner of the globe – from food crops and minerals to technology and research. The Queensland–Berlin Joint Declaration of Intent on health for the exchange of expertise, information and experience and will ensure Berlin and Queensland are at the forefront of healthcare innovation and the biomedical industries into the future.

Germany is the largest economy in the European Union and its industrial sector is a strong driver of the country's economic growth. Due to its shrinking workforce and ageing population, digital healthcare transformation is being accelerated. Germany’s healthcare sector is strong, and there is continued interest in Australian life sciences and medtech providers for both trade and investment partnerships.
