MDPP Launches Itself into Victoria

02 October 2018

MTPConnect congratulates our Project Fund recipient, The Medical Device Partnering Program (MDPP), on expanding its operations into Victoria. It has received support from LaunchVic, a government agency helping to kickstart the Victorian start-up environment.

MTPConnect CEO Dr Dan Grant says the program, developed by the Medical Device Research Institute at Flinders University in South Australia, is delivering on its national potential.

“The MDPP program brings together research, clinical and industry partners in a streamlined process for collaboration and product development,” Dr Grant said.

"We have seen fantastic results in South Australia in developing new medical devices, helping bring new products to market and creating new commercial opportunities for traditional and local manufacturers.

“MTPConnect has been a proud supporter in helping MDPP build its national capabilities, and the expansion into Victoria is an important part of that process.

"Congratulations to program founder, Professor Karen Reynolds, and her team.”
