The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is the only university in the Asia-Pacific region that offers the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) degree. UTS students can enroll in programs that include the Master of Good Manufacturing Practice, Graduate Diploma of Good Manufacturing Practice and the Graduate Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice.

UTS’s Good Manufacturing Practice suite of courses are designed for students and professionals working in any position within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices sectors who are looking to gain in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of regulations, compliance, process development and quality assurance.

This degree is the only course of its kind in Australasia, designed by UTS in close collaboration with SeerPharma, who are the industry’s leading provider of technical compliance and quality assurance knowledge in the Asia-Pacific.

The Good Manufacturing Practice series of industry-focused, practice-based and research-led courses are taught by industry experts with extensive experience.

This degree will appeal to people who want to upgrade their skills, to take their career in a new direction, or to stretch for that higher-level role. It is ideal for people wishing to commence or enhance their pharmaceutical industry-manufacturing career with an industry-recognised qualification.

SeerPharma Lecturer/Consultant Jacqueline Berry said the partnership with UTS has the potential to launch and grow people’s careers.

“The program is in a rapid growth phase with the launch in 2019 of the online Graduate Certificate of GMP enabling students to study from anywhere in the world in their own time,” Ms Berry said.

“It’s exciting to be involved in this new venture.”

And for the first time, UTS students can study the Graduate Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice online for the Spring 2019 intake. The ‘live and online’ delivery of this course is designed for professionals looking to upskill in the area of good manufacturing practice.
