ClinTrial Refer Australia improve recruitment to all clinical trials in Australia
ClinTrial Refer is a mobile smartphone and web-based platform connecting doctors and patients to recruiting clinical trials across research networks.
Individual apps have been associated with over 60% increase in trials recruitment due to better knowledge management, and cross referral of patients to hospitals for trials participation.
This project will develop a new IT platform to integrate the current 19 derivative apps, create one combined database, create new search functions, enable electronic referrals, link to ANZCTR and build a national solution to trials recruitment.
Outcomes: ClinTrial Refer is disrupting the way in which referral and recruitment to clinical trials is managed. The App now has over 3700 users with 1950 clinical trials entered over 712 locations.
