Current portable tests for STIs are based on colloidal gold, but have shown limited sensitivity and not open to public. Radetec’s revolutionary technology uses optimised quantum dots material combined with the proven and mature lateral flow- assay platform to produce a point-of-care test with a level of efficacy beyond existing colloidal gold-based products. The company’s revenue will come from the sale of quantum dots, test kits and reader machines that will quantify test results.
