About National Acoustic Laboratories
National Acoustic Laboratories (NAL) is the clinical research organisation of Hearing Australia specialising in conducting research into Hearing Health care solutions. Our mission is to lead the world in hearing research and evidence-based innovation to improve hearing health and transform the lives of people with hearing difficulties. NAL provides solutions and recommendations for those with hearing difficulties, clinicians who provide hearing services, and companies who develop products for clinicians and their patients. Services we offer include:
(1) Co-design solutions and gain feedback from end-users to improve the product at an early stage
(2) Validation to conduct clinical trials to secure robust, globally compliant clinical data for registration, marketing claims, market access and post-market follow-up
(3) Industry insights to understand the current unmet needs of people with hearing difficulties and the industry environment using ecologically valid data and behavioural insights and
(4) Partner to market services at each step of the way, supported by experts and a global network of industry partners.
