About the Event

Austrade invites you to participate in the Australian Government’s fifth annual regional campaign, Australia Unlimited MENA 2017.

The MENA healthcare market is projected to reach US$144 billion by 2020. GCC governments are committing significant funds as well as encouraging private sector participation to build new healthcare facilities, upgrade existing infrastructure, globally engage in relevant research and improve quality of healthcare services. They are also investing heavily in innovative healthcare solutions and technology.

With the overarching theme of ‘Collaborate to Innovate’, the 2017 program is focused on Australian institutions and firms with a focus on (or investing in) medical research, firms supplying in to the medical research sector; and innovative organisations looking to enhance their connections and market share. The program aims to connect them to regional government contacts, academia and industry leaders to explore MENA’s healthcare challenges and opportunities, particularly around cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
