MTPConnect is pleased to bring you our first seminar series webinar for 2021 - “Collaboration for Innovation: CRC-P Grants for Medical Product Manufacturing” - on 24 February, 1pm-2:30pm.

The seminar, in conjunction with BioMelbourne Network, will highlight the opportunity to access Round 11 of Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants that provide funding for short-term industry-led research collaborations including manufacturing-related projects in the MTP sector.

The CRC-P Round 11 Round 11 also includes dedicated funding for projects that support research and development activities in regional areas.

Discussions will centre on the Modern Manufacturing Strategy and the advanced manufacturing of medical products (therapeutics, devices, diagnostics), as it relates to value creation.

Joining the webinar is Martin Dent, Program Manager CRC Projects at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER) to outline the CRC-P program, its focus on collaboration, and eligibility and guidelines for applicants.

Renowned manufacturing industry expert, Shay Chalmers, Owner & Director at Strategic Engineering Australia, will discuss the value of advanced manufacturing in the commercialisation process of new medical innovations.

The CRC-P Round 11 Grant Opportunity Guidelines are now available, and it is anticipated that Round 11 will open soon.

This event will be relevant for Australian start-ups, SMEs and companies developing and commercialising medical products, researchers and university professional staff.
