Life Sciences WA Awarded X-TEND Grant

We are pleased to announce that our partnership with Life Sciences WA (LSWA) has been awarded an X-TEND WA program grant, supported by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation and part of the New Industries Fund.

This funding will bolster LSWA’s current efforts to increase the awareness of the opportunities available to investors on WA’s burgeoning life science sector through the creation of a bespoke ‘Investment Series’ education program.

The matched funding component of this grant has been provided through MTPConnect’s Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) initiative, on behalf of the Medical Research Future Fund. The REDI initiative is providing industry experiences and skills development for students, researchers, clinicians, MTP (medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical) sector professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

LSWA is collaborating with experienced life science professionals including the MTPConnect WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub and ANDHealth to deliver series of workshops, presentations and a provision of a Reference Guide into commercialisation of digital health, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
