Please welcome Deborah Sippitts - Senior Manager Communications

Today we are delighted to announce that Deborah Sippitts is joining MTPConnect as Senior Manager Communications working with Caroline Duell and Libby Pearce, based in Melbourne.

Deborah will be working across our programs, with a particular focus on our five MRFF-funded strategic programs - BTB, BMTH, CTCM, REDI and TTRA – where she’ll be working closely with the program teams and stakeholders including partners and awardees.

Her extensive experience in journalism, media, communications and public relations includes senior communications roles at RMIT University and Monash University, and with Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) – a joint initiative of the Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Media Studies, majoring in journalism from the University of Westminster (UK) and volunteers her communications expertise for Breastscreen Victoria as a Breastscreen Ambassador and Consumer Network member.
