About Health 10x

UNSW Founders and The George Institute for Global Health (TGI) are partnering again to deliver Health 10x, an accelerator program for health innovators with a product or service – particularly those developing affordable and scalable solutions to some of the most pressing unmet medical needs, globally.

Since 2019, Health 10x has supported over 80 startups and invested in 15. Health 10x alumni have gone on to raise over $5M in funding, creating 21 jobs, and starting multiple clinical trials and research collaborations.

Over 14 weeks, Health 10x will run as a two-phase program (pre-accelerator and accelerator), leveraging UNSW's strengths in entrepreneurship program delivery with TGI’s expertise in medical research, clinical trials, and regulatory issues to provide tailored business acceleration and incubation support to entrepreneurs, teams, and startup companies.

This program is powered by MTPConnect’s $32 million Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) initiative, made possible by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
