Takeda Research Incubation Program 2022 Invites Research Proposals

Takeda Pharmaceuticals is inviting Australian start-up companies, academia, institution and innovators to submit research proposals for commercially viable healthcare solutions in neurological and neuromuscular disorders areas.
This is a new grant call launched by Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Shonan Health Innovation Park (iPark) aiming to create new opportunities for industry-academia collaboration by matching innovative ideas held by researchers in Australia with research issues held by pharmaceutical companies in Japan.
Successful candidates will receive research funding, mentoring and coaching from Takeda experts, and have access to incubation space at iPark near Tokyo for up to 3 years.

Open to: Companies or academia, institutes established and existing in Australia
Area of focus: Neuroscience
Application period: 1 June – 31 July 31, 2022
Awardees Announcement:2022 December (TBD)
Award: Up to JPY 10mn (approx. A$115k) per year for 3 years; mentoring & coaching from Takeda experts; access to incubation space at Shonan iPark for up to 3 years
