The Bridge Program trains researchers and clinicians to navigate the pharmaceutical and biotech commercialisation pathway, as well as expanding their pharmaceutical commercialisation knowledge and networks.

Delivered by QUT, the Bridge Program is supported by a consortium of partners including leading pharmaceutical companies, universities and industry affiliates.

The Bridge Program will equip you with the skills and networks you need to take new medicines to market with training in the scientific, legal, financial, clinical, regulatory ad reimbursement elements of pharmaceutical commercialisation.

Fully-funded program, interactive online learning, networking events

You will learn from online modules and attend events featuring high-profile industry speakers.

This one year fully-funded program has a time commitment of about 1-2 days a month, with no out of pocket expenses for participants.

In the Bridge Program, a cohort of up to 100 participants take part in:

  • Interactive online learning modules that are self-paced.
  • In-person networking events and seminars that are held in different capital cities (around three per year).
  • Attendance at the 3-day Bridge Symposium – a comprehensive conference that showcases speakers from the pharmaceutical industry.

Launched in 2017, the Bridge Program was set up with funding from MTPConnect's Growth Centre Project Fund Program to deliver an education program that provides the necessary training to enable successful commercialisation of Australian pharmaceutical discoveries.
