MTPConnect is excited to lead this year’s BIO2024 mission to San Diego from 3 – 6 June to showcase Australia’s outstanding life science innovations, innovators and unique biotechnology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing capabilities.
The BIO conference is the largest biotechnology business partnering event in the world with more than 20,000 participants expected in San Diego for the event.
With medical science deemed a priority sector for Australia, BIO presents a unique opportunity to showcase Australia’s research and industry capabilities to international prospects and foster strategic relationships with the aim of securing partnerships, investment and revenues across the health tech sector.
With a united Team Australia approach we can position Australia as an innovative leader, a preferred trade partner and an investment market of choice. For these reasons, the annual mission to BIO is a priority for many Australian researchers, entrepreneurs, start-ups and globally-focused SMEs.
To support Australian companies to get the most out of the conference, MTPConnect is working in strong partnership with the state governments of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia, the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, CSIRO and AusBiotech.
MTPConnect is hosting the Team Australia pavilion to send a strong ‘open for business’ message and to provide a highly visible and central location for meetings and business introductions.
We are also hosting the Australian Welcome and Business Reception prior to the kick-off of BIO2024 on Sunday 2 June 2024. This premier event provides a unique environment for networking and relationship building and we are working with our global contacts to attract potential partners and investors to the event who are interested in pursuing research and commercial deals with Australian companies.
