The MedTech Actuator Accelerator is Asia Pacific’s industry-led, investor-backed 9-month venture development program for early-stage MedTech, BioTech and HealthTech startups. The program will simultaneously accelerate your technology development, build your team’s capability and provide access to investment.
Since its inception in 2018, the Accelerator has supported over 75 early stage healthtech startups to move rapidly through the complex commercialisation process. By curating access to knowledge, networks, and capital, the program offers early-stage healthtech ventures critical support to fast-track their development and increase success.
Over the course of the program, startups are supported to develop a complete commercialisation strategy in a global context, a full deal room to increase investment readiness, and grow their skills as leaders within a growing international community of healthtech entrepreneurs.

Eligibility:
The program is targeted at MedTech, HealthTech, and BioTech startups at TRL 4 and above, with a focus on suppporting healthcare startups with robust IP and a regulated path to market.
To be eligible for the respective Accelerator programs, founders/teams must be:
- For Accelerator Australia:
- Based in Australia, or internationally with an ability to travel to Melbourne to attend intensive sprints and a demo day in person
- For Accelerator Singapore:
- Based in *Singapore, or internationally with an ability to travel to Singapore to attend intensive sprints and a demo day in person
- *For Singapore-based founders/teams ONLY: (a) company is registered for less than 10 years; (b) have at least 30% Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident shareholding; and (c) have group annual size turnover less than $100M or less than 200 workers.
