Government’s Medical Science Co-investment Plan Prioritises Life Science Innovation
MTPConnect welcomed the Medical Science Co-investment Plan released by the Hon Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science and the Hon Mark Butler, Minister for Health and Aged Care. As the first of seven plans delivered across the National Reconstruction Fund’s priority investment areas, it highlights the importance of medical products in driving Australia’s economic transformation. Read our response.

MTPConnect to Deliver Biomedical Manufacturing Training in WA
MTPConnect welcomed additional funding from the Western Australian Government to deliver critical industry training programs to boost the state’s biomedical manufacturing capabilities.
The funding support will see delivery of several subsidised courses in medical device quality management systems and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles through MTPConnect partners SeerPharma and Centre for Biopharmaceutical Excellence (CBE). MTPConnect Hosting Workshops in Seoul Ahead of Bio Korea 2024

End-to-end Product Development 101 Workshop

Genesys Electronics Design, NSW Smart Sensing Network and MTPConnect held a free interactive educational workshop series in April on the fundamentals of product development. The workshop was available to researchers, founders and students at NSW Smart Sensing Network member universities and was held in four locations.

Farewell to MTPConnect team member Jenny Devlin
We fondly farewelled Jenny Devlin after nearly five years at MTPConnect, who has taken up a new opportunity. As Executive Assistant, Jenny supported CEO Stuart Dignam, Chair Jaala Pulford and the board, and was involved in organising many corporate events for the team around Australia. We will miss her and wish her all the best in her new role.
