MTPConnect’s CTCM Program Awards $6.2M to Accelerate Homegrown Medical Device Innovations
MTPConnect and the Minister for Health and Aged Care, Hon. Mark Butler MP, this month announced $6.2 million of funding for six medical technology projects through the Clinical Translation and Commercialisation Medtech (CTCM) Program. The CTCM program, a Medical Research Future Fund initiative delivered by MTPConnect, is supporting the development of these promising medtech projects from 4D Medical, CathRX , Medical Developments International, Ventora Medical, VitalTrace and Vivid White. MTPConnect's Lauren Kelly selected for Veski's STEM sidebyside Program
Congratulations to Lauren Kelly, MTPConnect's Senior Director TTRA Program who has been selected as one of 31 participants in Veski's competitive STEM sidebyside Program for mid-career leaders in 2023. Lauren will spend 6 months building her skills and networks through workshops and networking opportunities.

MTPConnect’s CEO and Chair Visit Innovators
Our CEO Stuart Dignam and Chair Jaala Pulford were delighted to visit Neo Bionica in Melbourne and meet CEO Dr Ludovic Labat, to find out more about their work taking medtech ideas into clinical reality through advanced engineering and manufacturing. This includes their work with Nirtek Pty Ltd, a project developing a guidewire to detect unstable coronary plaques, backed by our TTRA program. Jaala also visited the Ab Initio Pharma team in Sydney who have set up a busy GMP manufacturing facility for pharma R&D supplying early-stage clinical trial products, supported by our Growth Centre funding program.
